البِيقيّة اسم يطلق على 140 نوعًا من نباتات فصيلة البازلاء. تتسلق كثير من أنواع نباتات البيقية على نباتات أخرى أوتزحف فوق سطح الأرض. ويتميز بعضها بنمط مستقل من النمو، حيث تكون شجيرتها ذات شكل خاص.
تتكون أوراق البيقيات من عدة وريقات. وتتسلق البيقيّات بوساطة محلاق (وريقات للتعلق) مفرد أومتشعب حيث ينبت المحلاق من أطراف الوريقات، وتشبه أزهار البيقيات أزهار نبات البازلاء العطرة. وتنموالأزهار إما مفردة أوفي هيئة عناقيد زهرية مختلفة الألوان، ومن الممكن حتىقد يكون لون الأزهار أزرق أوبنفسجيًا ضاربًا إلى الزرقة أوأحمر ورديًا أوأبيض أوأصفر.
تنموالبيقيات بالدرجة الأولى في الأرض المكشوفة مع الأشجار الخفيضة أوعلى طول الأَوْشِعة (جمع وَشِيع وهوسياج من شجيرات أوأشجار). والموطن الأصلي للبيقيات الجزء الشمالي للكرة الأرضية، لكن زراعتها أدخلت في مناطق أخرى. تغرس البيقيات أساسًا نباتات علف تُطعم بها الماشية أوسمادًا أخضر. وكبقية أنواع فصيلة البازلاء، للبيقيّات جذور ذات عُقَد تحتوي على بكتيريا نيتروجينية تساعد على زيادة خصوبة التربة.
