نوع مجتاح
الأنواع المجتاحة invasive species، هي الأنواع الغير أصلية التي تستوطن مكان حديث (الأنواع المستقدمة)، والتي تميل للانتشار بدرجات يعتقد أنها تسبب ضرراً على البيئة، الاقتصاد البشري أوصحة الإنسان.
كانت معايير الأنواع المجتاحة مثيرة للجدل، حيث توجد تصورات شديدة التباين بين الباحثين بالإضافة إلى مخاوف تتعلق بموضوع مصطلح "المجتاحة". اقترحت الكثير من الاستخدامات البديلة لهذا المصطلح. ينطبق المصطلح الأكثر استخداماً على الأنواع المطروحة (تسمى أيضاً "الأنواع الغير-أصلية" أو"الأغير-أصيلة) والتي تؤثر سلباً على الموائل والمناطق الحيوية التي تغزوها، اقتصادياً أوبيئياً. قد تكون هذه الأنواع المجتاحة إما نباتات أوحيوانات وقد تؤثر من خلال السيطرة على منطقة، مناطق برية، بعض الموائل، أوأراضي الوسط البري-الحضري من فقدان السيطرة الطبيعية (مثل الحيوانات المفترسة أوالعاشبة). يتضمن هذا أنواع النباتات المجتاحة الغير أصلية التي يشار إليها "بالنباتات الآفات الغريبة" أو"الآفات المجتاحة" التي تنموفي التجمعات النباتية. ويستخدم بهذا المعنى من قبل المنظمات الحكومية فضلاً عن جماعات الحفاظ مثل الاتحاد الدولي للحفاظ على الطبيعة وجمعية كاليفورنيا للنباتات الأصلية. يعهد الاتحاد الأوروپي "الأنواع الغريبة المجتاحة" هي تلك الأنواع، أولاً، الموجودة خارج منطقة انتشارها الطبيعية، وثانياً، المهددة للتنوع الحيوي.
كما يستخدم المصطلح من قبل مديري الأراضي، فهماء النبات، الباحثين، مختصين البستنة، نشطاء الحفاظ، والعامة لوصف الأعشاب الضارة.
