القنال الكبير في البندقية (1728-1730)

جيوفاني أنطونيوكانال (بالإيطالية: Antonio Canal) والمعروف باسم كاناليتو (Canaletto) عاش (1697-1768) هورسام ورشام إيطالي ولد وعاش في مدينة البندقية. كرس مسيرته الفنية لتصوير نوع واحد من المواضيع الحضرية، وكانت لوحاته الكثيرة عن البندقية من أبرز الشواهد على هذا الفن.

فناء بنـّاء الحجر، رسمها 1726-30.

عمل كاناليتوفي التصميم المسرحي إبان إقامته في روما (1719-1720)، وصمم مئات المسرحيات في أوبرا سكارلاتي Opera Scarlatti في روما، وتعرّف الفنانين الكلاسيين، وكان منهم المعمار الإيطالي المعروف ڤانڤيتلي Vanvitelli مابين(1700-1773) ممثل الاتجاه الكلاسي في فترة الباروك المتأخرة، كما أقام صلات مع مصوري المناظر الطبيعية الألمان ومع جماعة بامبوتشياتي Bambocciati، مصوري مناظر الحياة اليومية للناس البسطاء، ومنهم زاد معهدته بفهم المنظور وتعهد مشكلات الناس العاديين، واقتنع بأن يقف نفسه لرسم المشاهد الحقيقية والابتعاد عن العمل التزييني والمسرحي.

عاد كاناليتّوإلى البندقية عام 1720 وانتسب إلى نقابة الصنّاع والتجّار المهنية، وصار عضواً فيها، ثم تعرّف أعمال المصور ماركوريتشي Marco Ricci ولوقا كارله‌ڤاريس Luca Carlevaris، وقد أخذ عن ريتشي ذلك التناوب في الانتنطق من الظل إلى النور، وربما كان متأثراً بالفنان لوقا في وضع الأشخاص في اللوحة. وكانت معالجة الضوء في الأشكال من أبرز هواجسه، وتدل المناظر الأربعة للبندقية التي صورها بين عامي 1725-1726 دلالة واضحة على أهمية النور في خلق الإحساسات الخاصة على سطوح خشنة.

في عام 1726 أنجز بعض الصور ذات المعاني البليغة لمصلحة مدير فرقة أوين ماك‌سويني المسرحية Owen Mac Swinney، وفيها كان النور أكثر وضوحاً ودفئاً، وازداد ثراء بالتدرجات اللونية العميقة التي ظهرت في ستة أعمال كبيرة تمثّل مناظر من ساحة سان ماركوPiazza San Marco، وقد راعى فيها أكبر درجة من المسؤولية في دقة المنظور الذي خلق مع الضوء الدافئ توازناً كبيراً في التأليف منذ نهاية العشرينات في القرن الثامن عشر، وكان في الجمع بين المنظور الدقيق والظل والنور إشارة مهمة إلى جوهر نظرية كاناليتو، إذ عبّر في صوره لمدينة البندقية مع بحيراتها وممراتها المائية عن فكرته في عد النور ظاهرة حقيقية يجب التعامل معها كأساس منطقي للرؤية، الأمر الذي قاد الفنان إلى واقعية تتسم بالضبط والدقة.

انحاز كاناليتوبوصفه رجلاً مستنيراً وممثلاً حقيقياً للثقافة الأوربية نحوالأفكار الفهمية، وابتعد عن تقديم أي شكل لاقد يكون خاضعاً لأسسها وقوانينها. وكأي رسام كان يصمم أفكاره الخاصة في حجرته، ويضع فيها تصوراته الخاصّة، ولكنه كان حريصاً على تحويلها إلى حقائق حين نقلها إلى فضاء اللوحة وإلى موضوعات تحمل أكبر قدر ممكن من العقلانية.

في أعماله مسحة شاعرية واضحة، ولكن هذا الجرس الشاعري لا يستمده من رومانتية المنظر، ولكن من تعمقه بالرؤية الموضوعية الدقيقة للمنظر المرسوم. لقد صوّر تاريخ البندقية في مرحها وشموسها، وفي غناها وأرستقراطيتها، ولم يكن ليتصورها في أي يوم أنها في حالة ذبول أوانحطاط. غير حتى التغيّر في أسلوبه اتضح في المشهدين الكبيرين في مجموعة كرسبي Crespi الأول: «استقبال السفير بولانيو» Bolagno، والثاني «رحيل بوتشينتورو» Bucintoro، ففي هذين العملين تحولت كثافة العجينة اللونية المستخدمة في فترة الهجريز على (النور والظلمة) لتتجلى هنا بمزيد من الانسيابية والطلاوة.

عمله في إنگلترة

هذه اللوحة من عام 1752 لـمنزل نورثمبرلاند في لندن هي مثال لعمل كنالـِتـّوأثناء إقامته في إنگلترة.

أنجز كاناليتوفي السنوات التالية للعام 1730 مجموعة من المناظر في البندقية مخصصة لـ دوق بدفورد Bedford، فصوّر المدينة في حالاتها العاديّة مدينة هادئة، لا يشوهها الاضطراب، حانية بألوانها ومناخها المحبب، وصورها في أيام العطل حيث يتحرك الناس بعفوية وحرية مطلقة وتتناثر الألوان تحت أقواسها المتدانية تحت النور، ويتراقص وميضها كبريق الجواهر في جميع مكان. ولم تأت نهاية أربعينات القرن الثامن عشر حتى بدأ كاناليتوبتصغير حجم الأبنية في تأليفاته بالتوافق مع تصغير المساحات عموماً في اللوحة.

تعهد الفنان وسيطاً إنكليزياً هوجوزيف سميث Joseph Smith، وبوساطته أوفد واحداً وثلاثين عملاً من أعماله المحفورة بالماء القوي etching إلى المستشار البريطاني، وكانت موضوعات هذه الرسوم مناظر للمدن مع البحيرات نفذت بدقة عالية، ونظافة في الخطوط المحفورة، وحركة مفعمة بالحيوية.

نقل السياح الإنكليز كثيراً من أعمال الفنان إلى إنكلترا حيث لاقت استحساناً كبيراً وشهرة واسعة. وتضم صالات العرض البريطانية والمقتنيات الخاصّة أكثر من مئتين من أعماله، كما حتى إقامته في لندن مرتين في الأعوام 1746-1753 مكنته من تصوير مناظر عدة فيها مثل: «نهر التايمز والمدينة» The Thames and City و«حرس الحصان القديم» The Old Horse Guards عام (1749)، كما هجر بعض الأعمال في غاليري الفن وكذلك في متاحف عدة.


عودته للبندقية

عاد كاناليتوإلى البندقية عام 1755، فوجد حتى جميع شيء قد تغيّر، ولاسيما المناخ الفني والتجاري، كما أنّ أكاديمية الفنون في البندقية لم تضمه إليها إلا في عام 1763. ولكنه في الأعوام الأخيرة من عمره أنجز أعمالاً مهمة في التصوير. وحينما وافته المنيّة كان قد كشف الطريق الذي شقه بنفسه انطلاقاً من المصورين الإنكليز في القرن الثامن عشر، ووصولاً إلى الرومانتية المشرقة للفنان كوروCorot.

شعبيته

تلاميذه ضموا ابن اخته برناردوبـِلوتـّو، فرانسيسكوگاردي، ميكله مارييسكي، گابرييله بلاّ، جوسپـّه مورِتـّي، وجوسپـّه برناردينوبيسون.

إليه ينتسب الرسام برناردوبـِلـّوتوBellotto مابين(1721-1780)، وهوالمصوّر الذي عمل رساماً للمناظر الطبيعية في بلاط ملك بولندا، ستانيسلاس أوجست Stanislas Auguste منذ عام 1767.

هجرت تجاربه وأفكاره تأثيراتها ليس فقط في أحد أقاربه؛ الفنان المصور برناردوبلوتوBernardo Bellotto، بل تعداه إلى عدد من الفنانين الإيطاليين مثل: فرانچسكوگواردي Francesco Guardi وعدد من الفنانين الإنكليز مثل: صمويل سكوت Samuel Scott ووليام جيمس William James، وآخرين غيرهم.
