رخام الپارثنون Parthenon Marbles، تشكل جزءاً من المجموعة المعروفة بإسم رخام إلگن (Elgin Marbles؛ // ), هم مجموعة من منحوتات رخامية يونانية كلاسيكية (معظمها من خلق فيدياس وتلاميذه)، النقوش والأجزاء المعمارية التي كانت في الأصل جزءاً من الپارثنون ومباني أخرى في أكروپوليس أثينا.توماس بروس، سابع إيرل إلگن، السفير البريطاني إلى الدولة العثمانية من 1799–1803، ادعى أنه حصل على تصريح من السلطات العثمانية لأخذ بتر من الپارثنون.
في سنة 1081 - بينما كان توماس بروس، سابع إيرل إلگن، مبعوثاً لبريطانيا لدى الباب العالي (الدولة العثمانية) طلب من السلطات الهجرية (العثمانية) في أثينا السماح له بأن ينقل من الأكروبولس أية أحجار عليها نقوش قديمة أورسوم، وقد وجّه طلبه هذا باعتباره لوردا، وبالعمل نقل اللورد الإفريز الضخم للبارثينون (معبدا إغريقي) وكثيرا من التماثيل النصفية في سفينة إثر سفينة إلى إنجلترا في الفترة من 3081 إلى 2181. وقد وصفه بايورن وآخرون - احتجاجا على هذا العمل - بأنه وندالي سلاب، لكن لجنة برلمانية برأته، وبيعت رخامات إلجن بمبلغ 000،53 جنيه إسترليني دفعها الشعب البريطاني وتم إيداعها في المتحف البريطاني والمبلغ الذي دفعته الحكومة للورد إلجن كان أقل بكثير مما دفعه هوللحصول عليها(3) .
