أكاديا

أكاديا Acadia (بالفرنسية: Acadie)، كانت مستعمرة في فرنسا الجديدة في شمال شرق أمريكا الشمالية وكانت تضم مناطق من شرق كويبك، المقاطعات البحرية، ومين المعاصرة حتى نهر كنبك. في معظم سنوات القرن 17 وأوائل القرن 18، كانت أقصى المستوطنات الأكادية جنوباً تقع في نوريدجووك على نهر كنبك وكاستين عند نهاية نهر پنوبسكوت.
