قوانين جيم كرو Jim Crow laws، كانت قوانين على ولاية وقوانين محلية في الولايات المتحدة سنت فيما بين 1876 و1965. أوصت بالفصل العنصري بحكم القانون في جميع المرافق العامة في الولايات الجنوبية الكونفدرالية السابقة، وبداً من 1890، حالة منفصل لكن متساوي للأفارقة الأمريكان. عملياً، أدى الفصل إلى حتى تميل ظروف الأفارقة الأمريكان إلى حتى تكون أقل من تلك المتاحة للأمريكان البيض، منهجياً، كان هناك تمييز اقتصادي، تعليمي واجتماعي. الفصل بحكم القانون تم تطبيقه بصفة أساسية على الولايات الجنوبية. الفصل الشمالي كان بصفة عامة بحكم الأمر الواقع، وظهرت أنماط الفصل في الإيواء القسري بواسطة المواثيق، ممارسات الإقراض المصرفي، والتمميز في العمل، ويضم ممارسات التمييز على مستوى الاتحاد والتي استمرت لعقود.

تلت قوانين جيم كروهذه رموز السود 1800-1866، والتي كانت تقيد الحقوق، والحريات المدنية للأفارقة الأمريكان في غياب التكافؤ. أعربت عدم دستورية التمييز في المدارس تحت رقابة الدولة من قبل المحكمة العليا الأمريكية عام 1954 في قضية براون ضد مجلس التعليم. بصفة عامة، ظلت قوانين جيم كروحتى ألغيت بقانون الحقوق المدنية 1964 وقانون حقوق التصويت 1965.
طالبت قوانين جيم كروبفصل الأعراق في كثير من الأماكن العامة. ولكن أُعلن عن عدم شرعية أغلب هذه القوانين في الولايات المتحدة، بموجب قرارات أصدرتها محاكم عليا متعددة في خمسينيات وستينيات القرن العشرين الميلادي، وقوانين الحقوق المدنية لعام 1964م و1968م.
أصل التعبير
ظهرت تعبير "قانون جيم كرو" لأول مرة عام 1904 حسب القاموس الإنگليزي الأمريكي، بالرغم من وجود أدلة على الاستخدام المبكر لها. عادة ما تعزى أصل تعبير "جيم كرو" إلى "جمپ جيم كرو"، أغنية ورسيرة ساخرة عن السود أداها الممثل الأبيض توماس د. رايس أثناء وضعه مكياج أسود، وظهرت لأول مرة عام 1832، واستخدمت لنقد سياسات أندروجاكسون الشعبوية. نتيجة لشهرة رايس، بحلو1838، أصبحت "جيم كروم" تعبير تحقير يعني "الزنجي". عندما صدقت المجالس التشريعية الجنوبية على قوانين الفصل العنصري - الموجهة نحوالسود - في نهاية القرن 19، أصبحت تعهد بقوانين جيم كرو.

بعض المطاعم، مثل The Choke 'Em Down Lunch Room in Belle Glade, Florida, welcomed both white and black patrons alike, as indicated by the advertisement "White & colored served." overhanging the eatery in this 1939 photograph. Where this was allowed, state and local laws often required "whites" and "coloreds" be seated in seperate sections.
