القطرس المتجول Wandering Albatross، أوالقطرس الثلجي أوالقطرس أبيض الجناحين،Diomedea exulans، هوأحد الطيور البحرية الضخمة، ينتمي إلى فصيلة القطرس، وينتشر في المحيط الجنوبي.

The gibsoni subspecies nests on the Crozet Islands and Marion Island.

الوصف
القطرس المتجول طائر له جناحان يمتدان أكثر من ثلاثة أمتار وربع، وهوأضخم جناح عهد لطائر حي، حيث ينزلق بشكل رائع ويرافق السفن المبحرة في البحار الشمالية بين خطي عرض 60ْ، 30ْ شمالاً. يغلب على الطائر البالغ اللون الأسود باستثناء أطراف جناحية الأبيضين، أما الطيور الفتية فهي بنية اللون حتى تبلغ حوالي 135 سم.

التزاوج
منظر الغزل جدير بالملاحظة، حيث يقف جميع من الذكر والأنثى متقابلين، والأجنحة منتشرة، العنقان ممدودان والرأسان يتأرجحان من جانب إلى جانب، ويتلامسان بالعنقين والصدرين والمنقارين ويحمل جميع منهما ذيله القصير على ظهره.

التكاثر
تضع الأنثى بيضة واحدة تزن حوالي نصف كيلوجرام وتمتد فترة الحضانة إلى أكثر من 81 يومًا.
