مركز ثقل
في فرع الميكانيكا من الفيزياء يعهد مركز الثقل أومركز الثنطقة لجسم ما على أنه نقطة في هذا الجسم الذيقد يكون العزم مساوياً للصفر بالنسبة لها إذا وضعنا هذا الجسم في حقل قوى متوازي (مثل حقل الجاذبية الارضية إذا غيبنا كروية الارض). ويسمى في الرياضيات بالمرجح.
