توماس روبرت ليندال Tomas Robert Lindahl FRS FMedSci (و. 28 يناير 1938)، هوعالم سويدي متخصص في أبحاث السرطان. في 2015، حاز جائزة نوبل في الكيمياء بالاشتراك مع الكيميائي الأمريكي پول مودرتش والهجري عزيز زنجر لعملهم في ترميم الدنا.
التعليم
حصل على الدكتوارة عام 1967،ودكتوراة الطب عام 1970، من معهد كارولنيسكا في ستوكهولم.
حياته العملية
بعد حصوله على الدكتوراة، قام درس ما بعد الدكتوراة في جامعة پرنستون، وجامعة روكفلر. بعد انتنطقه للمملكة المتحدة إنضم إلى الصندوق الامبراطوري لأبحاث السرطان (أبحاث السرطان في المملكة المتحدة حالياً)، كباحث عام 1981.
جوائز وتكريمات
حصل ليندال على الوسام الملكي "لاسهاماته الأساسية في فهمنا لترميم الدنا." وهوعضوالأكاديمية النرويجية للعلوم والآداب. حاز الوسام الملكي من الجمعية الملكية عام 2007 ووسام كوپلي عام 2010. أُنتخب زميل مؤسس في أكاديمية العلوم الطبية عام 1998. أُنتخب زميلاً في الجميعة الملكية عام 1988 .
حاز جائزة نوبل في الكيمياء 2015.
