سير إدوارد كوك Sir Edward Coke SL PC ( //؛ 1 فبراير 1552 – ثلاثة سبتمبر 1634)، هومحامي، قاضي إنگليزي، سياسي معارض لاحقاً، الذي يعتبر من أعظم قضاة الفترة الإليزابثية واليعقوبية. وُلد لعائلة متوسطة، ودرس في كلية ترينتي، كمبردج، قبل حتى يهجرلها ليدرس في إنر تمپل، حيث كان called to the Bar في 20 أبريل 1578. كمحامي في المحكمة العليا تولى كوك الكثير من القضايا الشهيرة، منها قضية سلاد، قبل حتى يكتسب الخبرة السياسية الكافية لانتخابه في البرلمان، حيث خدم أولاً كمحرر عدل ثم كرئيس لمجلس العموم. بعد ترقيته إلى لمدعي عام ترأس تحقيقات النيابة العامة في مختلف القضايا الشهيرة، منها القضايا المرفوعة ضد روبرت دڤروكس، سير والتر رالي، ومؤامرة البارود. كتكريم لخدماته رسم فارساً ثم عُين Chief Justice of the Common Pleas.
