جائزة الاختراق في الفيزياء الأساسية، هي جائزة تمنها مؤسسة جائزة الفيزياء الأساسية، منظمة غير ربحية مكرسة لمنح جوائز في للفيزيائيين العاملين في مجال الأبحاث الأساسية والتي تأسست في يوليو2012 بواسطة الفيزيائي الروسي ومبادر الإنترنت يوري ميلنر.
في سبتمبر 2018، كانت الجائزة الأكثر ربحا حقيقياً في العالم، وتبلغ قيمتها ضعف قيمة جائزة نوبل. كما يطلق عليها الإعلام "نوبل القرن 21".
المرشحون وقيمة الجائزة
في سبتمبر 2018، كان في إمكان أي إنسان الترشخص عبر المسقط الإلكتروني للجائزة. في سبتمبر 2018، كانت قيمة الجائزة ثلاثة مليون دولار. وتتعدى قيمتها جائزة نوبل المرموقة، والتي كانت قيمتها في 2012 أكثر من 1.2 مليون دولار بقليل.
