تحويل الإشارة
نقل الإشارة أوتحويل الإشارة الحيوية أوتنبيغ أوتحاس signal transduction مصطلح يستخدم في فهم الأحياء على أي عملية يتم بها تحويل نوع من أنواع الإشارات الحيوية أومنبه stimulus حيوي إلى نوع آخر ضمن الخلية الحية أوبين عدة خلايا حية. هذه العمليات (التي يشار لها بالتحاس أحيانا) غالبا ما تتضمن تفاعلات كيميائية حيوية ضمن الخلية ذاتها، يتواسط في هذه التفاعلات إنزيم موجود ضمن الخلية ويرتبط بنوع من المراسيل الثانية second messenger الموجودة ضمن الخلية الحية. تحدث هذه العمليات ضمن أجزاء ضئيلة من الزمن تستغرق فقط بضع ميليثوان وأحيانا بضع ثوان.
في يعض الحالات تكون العملية سلسلة متعاقبة من العمليات يتدخل فيها عدة تفاعلات بيوكيميائية وعدة إنزيمات بحيث تؤدي إلى سلسلة من الأحداث تنتج عن المنبه البدئي. مثل هذه السلسلة من تعاقب المراحل والعمليات يدعى : تعاقب إشارات Signaling cascade أويدعى أيضا بمسار المرسال الثاني "second messenger pathway" غالبا ما تكون نتيجته ان منبها ضئيلا يؤدي إلى استجابات ونتائج كبيرة نسبيا.

- عوامل النمو(e.g. عامل النموالظهاري epidermal growth factor),
- مكونات المطرس خارج الخلوي (e.g. فيبرونكتين fibronectin),
- سيتوكينات (e.g. إنترفرون-گاما interferon-gamma),
- كيموكينات (مثلا. رانتيس RANTES),
- نواقل عصبية (مثلا. أستيل كولين acetylcholine),
و
- نيوروتروفين neurotrophins (مثلا. عامل النموالعصبي).
