معركة بلينهايم Battle of Blenheim وتسمى أحياناً معركة هوخشتات الثانية، دارت رحاها في 13 أغسطس عام 1704م، وكانت نقطة تحول في حرب خلافة العرش الأسباني (1701-1714م) وإحدى المعارك الحاسمة في التاريخ الأوروبي. وقد هددت الجيوش الفرنسية والبافارية التي كان يقودها مارشال تالارد وماكس إمانويل البافاري بالاستيلاء على فيينا، ودفع دوق مارلبوروبالجنود الإنجليز لتنضم إلى القوات النمساوية تحت قيادة يوجين أمير ساڤوا، وهزم كلاهما الفرنسيين والبافاريين هزيمة نكراء بين القريتين البافاريتين بلندهايم، أوبلينهايم كما سماها الإنجليز، وهوخشتيدت على نهر الدانوب. وأنقذ الفوز فيينا وطهر ألمانيا من جحافل الجند الفرنسيين. .
The position of the forces at noon, 13 August. Marlborough took control of the left arm of the Allied forces including the attacks on Blenheim and Oberglauheim, whilst Eugene commanded the right including the attacks on Lutzingen.
