دنتسك (بالاوكرانية: Донецьк, التحريف Donets’k; بالروسية: Доне́цк, التحريف Donetsk؛ بالإنگليزية: Donetsk؛ أسماء سابقة: يوزوڤكا Yuzovka، ستالينو Stalino (ستالينه Staline)، انظر أيضاً: الأسماء البديلة للمدينة) هي مدينة تقع في القسم الشرقي من اوكرانيا عدد سكانها 1.1 مليون نسمة.
دونيتسك مدينة أوكرانية من أكبر المدن في حوض نهر الدونتس، وتقع شرقي أوكرانيا. ويبلغ عدد سكانها 1,117,000 نسمة.
تقع مدينة دونتسك وسط حقول الفحم الحجري الغنية. ويستخدم الفحم في مصانع الحديد والصلب الضخمة التي تجعل من المدينة مركزًا صناعيًا مهمًا. كما يتم إنتاج الآلات والأطعمة في المدينة. وقد تم إنشاء المدينة سنة 1870م تحت اسم مدينة يوزوفكا. وبعد الثورة الروسية، تغير اسمها إلى ستالين. وفي سنة 1935م، أصبح اسمها ستالينو. وتغير الاسم إلى دونتسك سنة 1961م، كجزء من اتجاه رئيس الوزراء السوفييتي (سابقًا) نيكيتا خروتشوف في التقليل من قيمة جوزيف ستالين.
يطلق عليها سكان المدينة اسم مدينة المليون وردة وذلك لوجود أجمل فتيات اوكرانيا في تلك المدينة. كما أنها سابقاً كانت تشتهر بالأزهار الموسمية بشكل واسع في نفس المدينة.
الرجل الأول في مدينة دونتسك اسمه رينات أخميتف وهورئس نادي دونيتسك الشهير شختيور وهومن أثرى أثرياء المدينة.[بحاجة لمصدر]
