القابلية المغناطيسية
القابلية المغناطيسية هي مؤشر لمدى تمغنط المادة طالما طبق عليها مجال مغناطيسي وهي كمية ليست لها وحدة قياس وتمثل رياضيا نسبة التمغنط إلى المجال المغناطيسي ويقابل القابلية المغناطيسية في الكهربائية القابلية الكهربائية.
يزداد مقدار مغنطة المادة حدثا زادت درجة قابليتها المغناطيسية فالمغناطيس القوي يجب حتىقد يكون ا قابلية كبيرة.
حيث :
- M هي كمية مغنطة المادة أمبير لكل متر
- H هي شدة المجال المغناطيسي أمبير لكل متر.
القابلية التفاضلية
في البلورات حديدية المغنطة، العلاقة بين M وH ليست خطية. ولمواءمة ذلك، فتعريف أكثر عموماً للالقابلية التفاضلية يتم استعماله
