الخطوط الجوية السودانية، هي خطوط الطيران الوطنية في السودان، مقرها الرئيسي في العاصمة الخرطوم. منذ 2012، أصبحت الشركة مملوكة بالكامل للحكومة السودانية.

التاريخ

بدأت سودانير عملياتها بأسطول يتكون من أربعة طائرات من طراز دي هافلاند (دوف) وهي طائرات بريطانية صغيرة الحجم تسعثمانية مقاعد وقامت الشركة بإضافة طائرات من نفس الطراز في عام 1952، وفي السنة الأولى بلغ ما نقله أسطولها الصغير 736 راكبا و543 كيلوگرام من البضائع المشحونة، وفي نفس العام تم إضافةتسعة طائرات لأسطول الشركة من طراز دوگلاس دي سي-3 بسعة 28 مقعدا ثم بدأت رحلاتها إلى العالمية بتشغيل مشهجر لطائرة من طراز فايكاونت فيكرز إلى لندن عبر القاهرة وأثينا وروما.

في أوائل الستينات تم إضافةسبعة طائرات فوكر 27 للعمل على الخطوط الداخلية التي تشهد رواجاً، كانت محطات سودانير في ذلك الوقت الظهران والبحرين وجدة وعدن عبر اسمرة وأديس أبابا ونيروبي وعنتبي وإنجمينا والقاهرة ومنها إلى بيروت وكانت تسير خطا إلى الأقصر استمر لفترة بسيطة كانت طائرات دي هافلاند كوميت سي أربعة أول طائرة نفاثة انضمت لتخدم عملاء الشركة على الخطوط الدولية مثل خط لندن والقاهرة وبيروت.

وبعد توقف طائرات الكوميت عالميا عن الخدمة تم إستبدالها في السبعينيات بأسطول حديث من طائرات بوينگ الأمريكية من طرازي بوينگ 707 وبوينگ 200-737، إزداد عدد المحطات الدولية بين قارات العالم حيث ضمت محطات في إفريقيا (أديس أبابا - كانو- نيروبي - لاگوس - أسمرة) وآسيا والشرق الأوسط (بيروت - بغداد - دمشق - القاهرة - صنعاء - جدة - الرياض - أبوظبي - مسقط - الكويت) وأوروپا (لندن - باريس - فرانكفورت - روما - أثينا).

وفي بداية التسعينيات تم تزويد الخطوط الجوية السودانية بأسطول من طائرات إيرباص الأوروبية. كانت أولى طائرات ايرباص التي انضمت للخطوط الجوية السودانية هي طائرة ايرباص ايه 310 وايرباص ايه 320. وبعد سنوات قليلة انضمت الايرباص ايه 300. وزاد عدد الوجهات بين القارات لتضم إسطنبول - عمان بالأردن - الشارقة - دبي - العين - الدوحة.

جدير بالذكر ان الخطوط الجوية السودانية تقوم بتشغيل رحلات مجدولة اسبوعية من مطار بورتسودان الدولي الجديد الي وجهات دولية مثل جدة والقاهرة. يضم الاسطول الحالي للخطوط الجوية السودانية ثلاثة طائرات من إيرباص إيه 300 وطائرتان من طراز إيرباص إيه 310 وطائرة من طراز إيرباص إيه 320 انضمت مؤخرا للخدمة، وخمسة طائرات من طرراز فوكرز 50. كما تمتلك طائرة من طراز بوينگ 707 مجهزة لاغرض الشحن الجوي. ويتم الاستعانة ببعض الطائرات المؤجرة عند الضرورة.

في أعقاب حمل الحظر الأمريكي عام 2017، أعربت الخطوط الجوية السودانية عن خطط لتجديد أسطولها.

25 March 1991	Khartoum	F27-200	ST-AAA	W/O	&&&&&&&&&&&&&&00.&&&&&00	The aircraft made a belly landing at Khartoum Airport, after it was unable to get fully airborne during take-off.
19 July 1998	Khartoum	Boeing 737-200C	ST-AFL	W/O	&&&&&&&&&&&&&&00.&&&&&00	Suffered a hydraulic malfunction shortly after take-off that prompted the pilots to return to the airport of departure. 11 June 2002	Khartoum	F27-600	ST-SSD	W/O	&&&&&&&&&&&&&&00.&&&&&00/2	Tyres burst after a rejected take-off at Khartoum Airport during a training flight, making the aircraft to drift to the right. The landing gears resulted damaged when the aircraft skidded off the runway.	^:42
8 July 2003	Port Sudan	Boeing 737-200C	ST-AFK	W/O	&&&&&&&&&&&&0117.&&&&&0117/117	Due to operate a domestic scheduled Port Sudan–Khartoum service as Flight 139. Some 15 minutes after take-off, one of the engines lost power and prompted the crew to return to make an emergency landing. However, the runway was missed and the aircraft descended until it hit the ground,خمسة kiloمترs (16,000 قدم) east of Port Sudan.
10 June 2008	Khartoum	A310-300	ST-ATN	W/O	&&&&&&&&&&&&&030.&&&&&030/214	The aircraft was operating an international scheduled Amman–Damascus–Khartoum passenger service as Flight 109, when it crashed and subsequently burst into flames upon landing amid stormy weather at the final destination airport, after it veered off the runway. The plane had 214 people on board; despite most of them managed to escape from the burning aircraft, the accident claimed 30 lives.
21 October 2009	Sharjah	Boeing 707-320C	ST-AKW	W/O	&&&&&&&&&&&&&&06.&&&&&06/6	Crashed into a desert zone 1.6 kiloمترs (5,249 قدم 4 بوصة) northwest of Sharjah International Airport immediately after take-off. The aircraft had been leased by Sudan Airways from Azza Transport, and was due to operate a scheduled Sharjah–Khartoum freighter service as Flight 2241.
