العلوم الزائفة أوالعلوم الكاذبة هي أي مجموعة من المعارف والمناهج والمعتقدات أوالممارسات التي تدعي أنها فهمية تنطبق عليها مواصفات الفهم وخصائصه في حين انها لا تتبع طرائق المنهج الفهمي. العلوم الزائفة يمكن حتى تبدوعليمة ، لكنها في الواقع لا تخضع لقواعد قابلية الفحص testability المشروطة في المنهج الفهمي وتكون غالبا على تعارض مع الإجماع الفهمي الحالي .
