وامپانواگ Wampanoag هي قبيلة هندية كانت تسكن الساحل الشرقي الشمالي في الولايات المتحدة، في البداية تواصلوا مع المستوطنين الإنگليز في پليموث تحت حكم زعيمهم ماساسويت الذي حافظ على علاقات طيبة معهم لكن مع مجيء الكثير من المستوطنين بدأ الخلاف يدب حتى تحارب ابن ماساسويت المدعوميتاكوميت في الحرب التي سميت حرب الملك فيليپ (لقب مياكوميت بعد حتى تنصر) بين عامي 1675 – 76. وهم يعيشون الآن في مساتشوستس.

من حكايات التاريخ الأمريكي كان سكوانتوالهندي من قبيلة ووامپانواگ والذي ساعد مع قومه المستوطنين البيض في سيرة بداية عيد الشكر.
