دريدنوت dreadnought، هي نوع من السفن الحربية كانت سائدة في أوائل القرن 20. كانت إتش‌إم‌إس دريدنوت 1906 التابعة للبحرية الملكية، هي الأولى من نوعها، والتي هجرت انطباعاً قوياً لدى الناس عندما أطلقت عام 1906 وأصبحت السفن الحربية المشابهة يطلق عليها اسم "ديردنوت" وأصبحت السفن الحربية المبكرة تعهد باسم قبل ديردنوت. كان تصميم دريدنوت يحمل خاصيتين ثوريتيين هما مدافع كبيرة، ومحركات توربينية غازية.
